Price Paid: $0.00 Summary The Grundig Eton S 350 DL S350DL is******* GARBAGE ******* Strength The ONLY strength this radio has is excellent Hi-Fi sound.That's It !! The actual speaker inside must be what's worth $90, everything else must value up to about $10 bucks !! Weakness This radio is CHEAP overseas GARBAGE! Yes, there is a lot of EXCELLENT overseas merchandise, this is FAR FROM THAT!I'm talking about having received 4 radios from Eton in Palo Alto CA, two of them were S 350 DL...the displays are GARBAGE, the knobs are weak, the tuning knob falls off...AND their ARROGANT customer service manager has little to no customer service or electronics skills whatsoever! DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE! No SSB, sounds horrible outdoors, the front end drifts like a feather on a windy day, the switches and controls *ARE* cheap, Grundig - Eton employees are Arrogant and of NO HELP, DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED $$ WITH THESE PEOPLE !! Look at Sangean, Sony or CC Radio+ (plus)... By the way, a previous post says you cannot disable the Sleep function. Read the manual...HOLD DOWN the power button to turn on without sleep function or quickly push power button to engage sleep function...whoo hoo. The same goes for the Grundig (or Eton) G4000A - G A R B A G E !! You'll know what I mean when you buy this dollar store trash...good luck !! Would you like to Comment?
