Strength:

Tight base, big but accurate sound

Weakness:

requires a lot of room to sound good

At first glance these speakers do not look impressive. They are not ugly in design or finish, but in no way impressive. What impresses though, is the sound. Provided there is room for it, the base is really tight and well defined. The base-ports are on the backside though, so one has to place them not too close to a wall or corner. These are 4-way speakers and the sound is very well adjusted, no range is actually neglected. The connectors are great for bi-wireing, and spikes are included in the box. So to basicly sum it all up, these are great value for money. What QLN has saved in smart look and sleek design, they have definately used on the sound itself. At a price of 6000DKkr. (app. 900$) a set they are very competitively priced.

This is some speaker. Very large and very heavy. I bought this speaker 3 months ago. I´m pretty satisfied with the speaker. The sound is nice and smoothe, with a treble that won´t provoke anybody. The only problem with the speaker is, that the sound can be too dark. The bass is well controlled, and very tight. If you want an allround speaker, this is a good one, and if it wasn´t for the dark sound i would rate it to 5 speakers.
