 Archos Open Baffle
The Archos Open Baffle cabinets are 15" wide, 13" deep and 42" tall (not including spikes). The front baffle is a full 2" thick and the remainder of the cabinet walls are 1" thick. It is a very substantial cabinet. The tweeter is a high-efficiency G2 pure ribbon tweeter. This extremely low mass driver has excellent horizontal and vertical dispersion characteristics. It is flat to within 1 1/2 db to 25KHz and is only down 3db at 40KHz.

 Pharos HET
The Pharos HET's are very tube-friendly. This is a nominal 8-ohm design that is 95db efficient. The impedance curve is a nearly flat resistive load of +/-1 Ohm above 100 Hz, which will be extremely easy for any amp to drive. There are no parallel surfaces anywhere in the very well braced cabinet. The top portion of the cabinet containing the tweeter and midrange is sealed. The woofer section is ported with two 3" free-flowing flared ports.

 SongTower QWT
The design begins with the Hiquphon OW2 tweeter. One of the finest 3/4" dome tweeters being made today, the OW2's smaller cone allows it to produce a more detailed and accurate top end than a typical 1" dome tweeter. Of course, it will not cross as low as a 1" dome. That is where the CA15's come into play. These high-performance 5" drivers have a very extended and flat top end, making them a perfect match for the OW2's. Of course, 5" midwoofers to not typically play all that low.

 V-Series V3
V3's are extremely transparent and literally disappear into the room for that "you are there" experience. The top end is crystal clear with detailed overtones that make instruments and voices come alive. The soundstage is deep and wide with instruments and vocals precisely located within a panorama of sound. Midrange is extremely detailed and accurate. Voices are rendered with utter realism. Fast transient response capabilities result in percussive sounds that are extremely realistic.

 Veracity HT2-TL
The Veracity HT2 design and developed a transmission line version of what was already an extremely fine speaker. Since Paul Kittinger designed the SongTower cabinets based on the pioneering work of Martin King, we called upon Paul to work his magic again. The result is the Veracity HT2-TL, a speaker that far surpassed our already high expectations. This design has it all. The world-class LCY pure ribbon tweeter, a pair of Seas Excel W18's, a transmission line cabinet and, of course, an incomparable Dennis Murphy crossover design. It all comes together in a speaker with seamless integration from the extremely transparent top end to bass response down to 32Hz.

Moscode 402Au OLT stereo power amplifier Review

George is adamant about the fact that the Moscode 402Au is not just a tube gain stage slapped onto a solid-state power amplifier; rather, it is a tube amplifier with a MOSFET output stage.

A new driver from Lowther is real news. A new five inch driver is even rarer news, so it was with great anticipation that I waited on this pair of speakers to arrive.

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
