 RT-1084
It was only a matter of time before radio finally came under the digital gun. Rotel’s advanced RT1084 takes advantage of all of the latest tuner technology, including HD Radio™ and Sirius™, to provide you with a solid audio performance unlike any analog tuner before it. HD Radio technology transmits digital audio and data alongside existing AM and FM analog signals, allowing RT1084 listeners to enjoy crystal-clear sound, while virtually eliminating the static and hiss associated with analog radio. The technology also provides a platform for interactive digital services that will deliver listeners information such as song titles, artist names, traffic updates, weather forecasts, sports scores, and more. HD Radio’s multicasting feature is an exciting addition that enables stations to divide their signals into multiple program streams (e.g., 97.3-1, 97.3-2, etc.). Unlike the current radio satellite services, HD Radio is subscription-free, assuring that AM and FM radio will continue to remain one of the best sources for local music, news, weather, and traffic information. Radio has finally come of age! But, that’s not all. Rotel’s RT1084 also includes a plug-in for up to three Sirius™ decoders. This CD quality, satellite based radio service has over 100 channels of advertising free music, sports, comedy and talk radio for a small subscription fee. RT1084 also sports the standard AM / FM bands for continuing analog service of your favorite stations. It also includes RDS (Radio Data System) for viewing your favorite stations call letters and music material that they are broadcasting. Complete with 12-volt trigger, RS232 and remote control, the RT1084 tuner is an important audio source component for expanding your entertainment choices.

Moscode 402Au OLT stereo power amplifier Review

George is adamant about the fact that the Moscode 402Au is not just a tube gain stage slapped onto a solid-state power amplifier; rather, it is a tube amplifier with a MOSFET output stage.

A new driver from Lowther is real news. A new five inch driver is even rarer news, so it was with great anticipation that I waited on this pair of speakers to arrive.

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
