 8200
The Plinius 8200 Integrated amplifier is our attempt to blend the performance of the SA series power amplifiers with the capabilities of the M series preamplifiers. Internally the 8200 incorporates a power amplifier based on the SA series circuit and a line level preamplifier based on the M16's line stage. In addition there is a phono preamplifier of unique design to satisfy vinyl lovers. For home theatre use there is an externally accessible processor loop with connectors on the rear panel.

 Hiato
Exceeding the power output of Plinius’s previous integrated amps with 300 watts per channel and using design concepts from its most prestigious products the Hiato will faithfully reproduce all types of music and as usual it is presented in black or silver in Plinius’s now familiar original and unique eye catching livery that delights all our senses.

Plinius subscribes to the design logic that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication and the Hiato continues this philosophy. The wonderful listening experience is accessed via the usual delightfully clear and intuitive user interface of buttons for source selection and a large volume control knob, and the full functioned remote control also controls the company’s CD player.

The Hiato has a comprehensive rear panel layout that includes four line level inputs and an option for either user adjustable phono input to an on-board phono stage or alternatively it can be purchased without the phono stage and used with a separate phono pre amp. High quality WBT RCA connectors are used on all line level and phono inputs with additional balanced XLR inputs for CD and Line 1. For Home Theatre system integration the Hiato features the HT bypass input, remote IR input and 12V input/output triggers. An unobtrusive 3.5mm jack on the front panel allows a casual user to connect portable media without needing to access the rear panel.

The output connections of the Hiato consist of four pairs of output connectors allowing bi-wired speaker applications, line Level output for archiving and preout for bi-amping.
