 T-4555 Tuner
When choosing audio components, we’re usually concerned with sound quality. With tuners, we are not only interested in tonal balance, soundstaging, etc., but also basic characteristics like the ability to pick up weak or distant stations, reject adjacent stations, provide noisefree audio, and stay tuned without drifting. The T-4555 FM/AM tuner is designed to provide perfectly tuned audio from radio sources. Its build quality is second-to-none with its solid construction, sturdy-looking brushed-aluminum finish with dot-matrix display, and gold-plated audio outputs. And inside, the T-4555 hosts a D-type transformer that can reproduce FM and AM radio with the clarity and finesse you would expect from a separate component. With the slot-in C-AMFM tuner module, you’re safe in knowing that the quality of the tuner board meets the same rigorous standards as those used in Onkyo’s flagship network receiver, the TX-NR5000E.
