NAD C356BEE Integrated Amplifiers

NAD C356BEE Integrated Amplifiers

DESCRIPTION

The C 356BEE makes exclusively uses sonically transparent sealed reed relay switches for all inputs (despite their added expense), including a front panel mini-jack to easily enjoy music from your iPod or other portable music player. This internal architecture minimises signal path length and keeps resistance extremely low allowing the subtlest details to emerge from your music. Musically satisfying tone controls allow necessary correction to your favourite music without adding colouration or distortion.

Strength:

Even delivery top to bottom with lots of drive. No shortage on bass punch. No mistaken for tubes but more detailed and refined than past NAD integrateds (e.g. C320, C325, C370) Lacks subtle grain heard on these amps. Has second set of pre-outs-very useful! Solid black metal face much better looking than grey plastic on older amps. Impressive 60+ joule power supply. Benefits from a thicker power cord.

Weakness:

Plastic knobs still a cut below the competition. Blue indicator LEDs too tiny to see from a distance. Despite PowerDrive, not the best for driving really low impedances.

So although i've paired only whith a b5 ,the scene is good, maybe a Little constrained, detailed, good response in bass ,But as Well might be a Little dark in sound ,S-o not as bright as denon&marantz ,Nad claims it is from the power source ,OK Well galled sound like what hi fi says also on image T6 ,,i forgot i hâd used whith a denon tuner and the knob was 100% ,it was like a sonically boom ,it droped My ears spoon from bathroom ,i barrely stopped it !!! Whithout soft clipping on ,it thaught who need it ! Strong built and relativ.heavy ,i forgot to Say i noticed a logically thing in sound on headphones out although it hasnt dolby prologic (2xz,,,) , S-o if u want tube sound go FOR Macintosh ,anthem etc ,But if u want power i recomand it .Also i want to ask here what dac would it be FOR this amp ,didnt try the dedicate module FOR this amp it Seem too expensive FOR me, But knowing this amp ,i guess a rithmically pounchy ,maybe not S-o analitic dac would be the perfect match ...

I have owned Marantz 7000 & Yamaha A-S700 integrated amplifier few years ago as good amps in vocal, detailed, transparency & musical but when you are a music lover for pop & rock music, they are lack of speed, dynamic, punch & slam.

I have NAD C356bee paired with PSB image B6, PSB subsonic 5i & Marnatz CD6003, the whole music presentation through this entry level system is solid & powerful, warm, fast, detailed, dynamic & punchy ! The same system matched with NAD amp was totally different as compared to Marantz or Yamaha amp.

This amp quoted 80 watts but the actual power is defintely more than Marantz (95 watts) and Yamaha (90 watts), so amazing !

The remote control is very nice but easy to leave more finger prints on it, anyway it is not a big issue.

I strongly recommend this solid amp to every music lover or audiophile without hesitation.
