The Music Director is a pure triode, truly balanced, Class A, no feedback, direct coupled, all tube differential amplifier with a high gain power supply. The massive output current in the Music Director is achieved at a 15 ohm output impedance that can drive a small speaker. Because of the low output impedance, long length interconnects can be used on the outputs.

SHA Maestro Reference Amplifier
- The SHA Maestro Reference utilizes an all tube, pure triode, Class A, zero feedback, true balanced, differential line amplifier with balanced and single ended active outputs, one set of passive outputs, six inputs, a tape monitor, a patented MELOS 'filament drive', and an OTL headphone output stage. - The very low impedance line outputs and 1 ohm headphone outputs are capable of driving virtually any load imaginable. - A 60 vac output capability (at 15 ohms) ensures the most effortless detailing available and the ability to use very long lengths of interconnect from the output.
