 22 Reference Connoisseur
High end of the 22 series Energy speaker designed in 1982 and lasted several years. This model of the 22RC had a frequency response of 25Hz to 45Khz with a 1 inch tweeter and 7 inch woofer. This speaker broke new ground for design in the early 80s. There is also a 22 Reference and 22 Pro. This one is the high end RC version. It had a built in stand support, while the lower 22 models needed a stand to sit on.

 8 Powered Subwoofer Encore 8
Unlike most competitor subwoofers, the encore8 sub features an 8"" long throw woofer instead of a larger 10 or 12"" platform because smaller woofers are lighter and faster.

The encore system was designed with music in mind first; necessitating audiophile quality bass response. The 150-watt RMS MOSFET amplifier section provides all the power you will need, and the front-mounted controls provide for easy adjustments.

 C-500
Full bore performance. The C-500 pushes presentation levels to all new heights, while maintaining a level of harmony with its surroundings that few speakers can boast. The dual 6-1/2” composite Fiberglas woofers are mated to Energy’s exclusive Tapered Crossover system, reproducing bass that is thunderous, along with dynamics and speed that are legendary. Many reviewers and listeners heralded the Energy Connoisseur C-5 (the precursor to the C-500) as the leader in performance in this category, but that is about to change. The C-Series C-500 is capable of greater extension, slam and impact than its predecessor, with less distortion and better articulation. Let’s not forget the 1” chambered aluminum dome tweeter that resides above the 2 woofers. This exclusive HyperbolicTM dome tweeter, now in its 5th generation, offers the dispersion, imaging and soundstage that has helped make Energy Speakers the brand it is.

Attention to detail, that further differentiates Energy from the competition, is maintained in the C-500. Port plugs are included for the two rear ports, to control bass performance in your listening room, another example of the care and consideration put into every design. The removable high gloss base is even removable, for those instances where a slightly different look is desired. The C-500 even includes high quality metal spikes, with adjustment nuts and protective discs.
