 Confidence C2
With its slim, graceful profile, and its 62 inch height, the Confidence C2 makes a bold statement as the entry into this new product line. The smallest model in the Confidence range particularly captivates through its extremely elegant proportions. In typical Danish fashion, Dynaudio pays meticulous attention to high quality craftsmanship. Every Confidence model is built in Denmark, completely in-house, through a combination of advanced computer-aided production engineering and exhaustive hand craftsmanship. The cabinets are built by skilled craftsmen who finely sand and hand polish each loudspeaker in a lavish process. The result is a high quality cabinet that will endure for decades while always maintaining the magnificent beauty of its appearance.

The baffle rests a bit in front of the cabinet enclosure, forming a gently curved tail on its moulded proportions. The audible benefit is that a wonderfully precise imaging is achieved, as is a soundstage with authentic dimensions, while vocals are rendered with an unbelievably natural precision. These performance attributes are also related to the Confidence models' balanced impedance technology, which results in the speaker not having to demand unreasonably high current from the connected amplifier. Low frequencies are now effortlessly reproduced without consequence, and it is possible to effectively utilize even inefficient power amplifiers due to the ease of drive achieved through the balanced impedance.

 Confidence C4
The development of the flagship Dynaudio Evidence proved that placing the tweeters in an aluminium-block housing was the most ideal performance solution. In the same fashion, the tweeters of the new Confidence models are also integrated into such a moulded aluminium module. The high impulse-strength of the Dynaudio soft domes results in a very high acceleration; the power of this is almost unbelievable, but necessitates such a chassis construction with enough mass to eliminate unwanted tweeter movements or vibrations typical of conventional designs. On the dome surface, even microscopic movements with the shortest wavelengths can be adversely affected by unwanted vibrations in the surrounding enclosure. Disturbing phase delays occur, and often they are responsible for a diffuse, inaccurate sonic portrayal. The Esotar² aluminium enclosure module avoids such vibrations while having the added benefit of being thermally ideal for heat dissipation.

In view of Dynaudio's DDC technology, it is necessary to work over the entire frequency range with a symmetric driver array, including dual tweeters; a Dynaudio exclusivity. Both frequency ranges integrate perfectly with each other, yielding a very good dispersion into the room by avoiding ceiling and floor reflections. Imaging is precise, open and spacious, while instruments are positioned accurately in the soundstage. The tweeters have a fantastic frequency response due to the precise mechanical and electric control. The response is free of peaks well over 20 kHz, therefore indicating that the design is perfectly suitable for all high-resolution, extended frequency range digital recording formats such as SACD or DVD-Audio. This also enables Dynaudio to employ a typical 6 dB per octave crossover, which results in a perfect impulse response.

 Confidence C7
For the C7, the largest Confidence model, Dynaudio developed a hybrid active solution for the bass section. In this design concept, the speaker is divided into two parts: the mid/tweeter section and the bass section. The mid/tweeter section operates as a normal passive loudspeaker, while the bass drivers are actively driven by an amplifier integrated into the cabinet and operate without a passive crossover.

The hybrid concept offers considerable advantages: First of all, the bass performance realized is much greater than what a passive solution could ever achieve simply due to physical limitations. No energy is wasted in the inductors and capacitors of the crossover. The active crossover offers flexibility to optimize the bass performance without losing efficiency, and adjustments can be made without inducing impedance and phase problems. The tuning of the bass driver in the individual cabinet can be optimized via electronic equalization, and presets for different room positioning options (e.g. free standing, near the back wall or in a corner) may be selected to achieve perfect results in any room. The amplifier has been designed specifically to optimally drive the C7 woofers in this application. As Dynaudio controlled both amplifier and loudspeaker design, the bass drivers can be regarded as a part of the amplifier circuit, and thus there are no interface problems as with many separate amplifier/speaker combinations.

 Evidence Master
During the 1999 International WCES in Las Vegas, Dynaudio officially launched its new loudspeaker flagship, the Evidence Master.

To date, the Consequence has served as the flagship loudspeaker from Dynaudio, with more than 1500 sold over the course of the past 15 years. Although many experts still regard the Consequence as one of the best audio products in the world, Dynaudio was determined to set a new standard: the Evidence.

For the Evidence Master, each and every detail has been engineered and developed from scratch. The starting point was the total concept:

  • A speaker system with no dynamic limitation
  • Truthfully detailed performance with high resolution
  • No coloration and/or speaker characteristics
  • Less room dependency than most large speakers
  • Attractive and elegant design that also nicely integrates /high tech/ appeal
  • -Upgradable to accommodate future expand ability and improvements

 Evidence Temptation
It was during the 1999 CES in Las Vegas that Dynaudio launched its flagship Evidence model. Since its introduction, the Master Evidence has established its position as a Reference Standard in terms of loudspeaker technology and performance throughout the world, gaining awards and accolades everywhere from the United States to France to Italy to Germany to Japan. As a follow up to this great achievement, during the 2001 Consumer Electronics Show Dynaudio proudly premiered the smaller sibling, the Evidence Temptation.

Dynaudio's new Evidence Temptation perfectly emulates the unfettered passion, truth and emotion first realized by its revered Master predecessor. The timeless beauty of its graceful lines, in perfect harmony with the convergence of exquisite materials and precise engineering exhumes the superior quality that is prelude to its amazing sonic performance. The handcrafted drivers are state-of-the art designs featuring Dynaudio's most advanced technology. The woofers produce a deep bass response of incomprehensible speed and dynamics, while the innovative integration of dual tweeters and midranges locked into its massive aluminum baffle yields a perfectly detailed response with no coloration, distortion or resonance. The DDC (Dynaudio Directivity Control) symmetric driver array minimizes vertical reflection, thus enabling a true rendering of the passage being reproduced –independent of the listening room's acoustics. Keeping true to its heritage as much as to the music, the Evidence Temptation simply transcends the media to deliver the emotion of the art form, which it so faithfully is able to reproduce. There's nothing like a true Dynaudio.

 Focus 110
The basis of the Focus 110 is the extremely solid cabinet construction. The asymmetrical form of the cabinet takes shape with sidewalls that gently taper towards the back, contributing additional rigidity to the assembly. In principle, this further prevents unwanted resonance and its detrimental effects. The end result is pure and untainted sound reproduction free of coloration. The Esotec+ technology is also prominently featured in the smallest model of the Focus range. The integrated D 280 tweeter with its coated 28mm soft dome fascinates with its incredibly detailed resolution of the high frequencies – a level of performance for which Dynaudio has become renowned.

 Focus 140
The Focus 140 embodies all of the virtues in Dynaudio’s long-standing tradition of high-performance compact loudspeakers: Highly evolved Dynaudio technology, meticulously selected components, painstakingly matched materials and carefully voiced sonics. Every technical detail is developed and manufactured exclusively by Dynaudio.

 Focus 220
For a dynamic power delivery in the bass region, this slim floor-standing loudspeaker relies on two mid/bass drivers from the completely newly developed Esotec+ generation. By employing a double-magnet motor system with ultra-compressed Ferrite magnets, dramatic musical passages are reproduced without compromise. And with increased cone excursion, even the most powerful transients are delivered without compression.
