AVP-A1HDCI This fully balanced A/V pre-pro is a statement piece from Denon. Weighing in at nearly 60lbs and 8.5" tall, it is rather large for a preamplifier/processor. Upon seeing the interior, one no longer wonders why it is so massive. It handles all the codecs including all the current lossless audio. Much like most of Denon upper end receivers, it includes Audyssey for room corrections/optimization. For DVD upconversion, it utilizes Realta chip. It has ethernet as well as wireless connection for firmware updates, audio streaming as well as remote control capability via PC. It handles 6 HDMI inputs and offers 2 HDMI outputs and a multitude of analog connections.
