Price Paid:
$0.00 Summary: received the delphi xm2go to go for christmas 06'. cost at that time was $399. i liked that it had all the neccesary do-dads to hook it up anywhere. love the fact i can listen to 5 hours of my favorite recordings while on a walk or around the house. i work out of my car so i see a lot of hiway, and it does make the time go by a way faster. Strengths: able to record 5 hours, has a remote control if using at home. fairly easy to figure out the buttons. has a 5 second delay if traveling under an underpass or out of signal spot. able to play over any radio with fm or with headphones Weaknesses: very easily cuts out of signal strength, if there are trees or buildings to the south of you while you drive. especially annoying if you are recording. pine trees are the worst. and most trees have no leaves on them yet. most hiway driving is good, but if you use it in a city with buildings and trees you may be very dissappointed.
every other month the unit has to be reset to factory settings because of internal confusion of what is recorded to what is on the display. this means anything saved is deleted and you have to redo all your presets and your recorded music.
the unit went down to $149 from $399 only a couple months after xmas.
