 Azur 340A 2-Channel Amplifier
A custom designed, oversized low-flux toroidal transformer enables the 340A to deliver an impressive 40 watts per channel into 8 Ohms. An exceptionally low-noise preamp stage with sophisticated input switching technology complete the package and make the 340A the budget amplifier to beat.

 Azur 540A Amplifier
Moving up the Azur amplifier league, the 540A benefits from a custom designed oversized toroidal transformer and short path circuitry, while a completely new amplifier topology for low levels of distortion. Packing a mighty 50 watts at eight ohms, the 540A is a clear leader in budget amplifier circles offering a huge number of features and a build quality to embarrass more expensive riva

 Azur 540P Amplifier
Extending the functionality of Cambridge Audio's critically acclaimed integrated stereo Azur amplifiers and AV receivers are two phono pre-amplifiers. The entry-level 540P is a high quality Moving Magnet design featuring single-ended 'Class A' gain stages and discrete transistors instead of the more common integrated circuits. This gives less cross-talk and interference across the signal path. The 540P employs an active RIAA equalisation system. The rear panel benefits from gold plated input connectors to minimise signal path interference and reduce surface degradation. An external power supply comes as standard.

 Azur 640P Amplifier
The 640P phono pre-amplifier (sometimes known as a phono stage) also uses superior amplification circuitry for its MM and MC stages to provide the lowest possible distortion and noise. In addition, the flagship model employs multi-parallel capacitors to achieve exceptional RIAA accuracy of only 0.3dB up to 50kHz and features a defeatable subsonic filter. The Azur 640P phono pre-amplifier employs a comprehensively specified Moving Magnet stage, as well as the higher gain needed for compatibility with high-end Moving Coil (MC) cartridges. This raft of technologies combines to offer a hugely dynamic, involving and open sound.

 Azur 740A 2-Channel Amplifier
Cambridge Audio continues to meet the needs of audiophiles at all levels and the Cambridge Audio 740A integrated amplifier is no exception. The Cambridge Audio Azur 740A integrated amplifier offers true hi-fi quality but at a fraction of the cost.

 Azur 840A Amplifier
  • 120 watts per channel (8 ohms), 200 watts per channel (4 ohms).
  • Patent pending proprietary Class XD technology
  • Massive custom built toroidal transformer uses dual secondary windings for dual mono operation of the output section. A smaller custom toroidal supplies a completely separate preamp power supply.
  • Sophisticated, relay and resistor precision stepped volume control ensures precise channel matching and sound far superior to typical motorized volume controls and IC driven volume controls
  • Navigator style Azur remote control which also controls Azur CD players plus the Apple Universal Dock
  •
     Azur 840Av2 Amplifier
Azur 840A was introduced it broke the mould by introducing an entirely class of amplifier design in the shape of Class XD™ and marked the zenith of Cambridge Audio’s critically acclaimed Azur line-up. The 840A V2 now embraces the second generation of Cambridge Audio’s patent pending proprietary technology and has employed some subtle but significant updates to improve upon this already outstanding design.

     Azur 840W Class XD™ 2-Channel Amplifier
  • Breathtaking 200W @ 8 Ohms and 500W into 8 Ohms bridged mono
  • Two pairs of very high current output transistors per channel.
  • Allows bi-amp or bridged mono modes
  • Cambridge Audio proprietary CAP5 protection system
  • RCA and balanced XLR connections
  •
