In short the state of the art in sound reproduction. Excell at low level detail retrival, top to bottom neutrality and coherency, coupled with very precise image focus in width and depth giving a picture perfect window on the recording. Strengths:
Extremely revealing of upstream components. If done right, very neutral sound from dog whistle range to the sub-bass region. Yet this sound is rich with subtle low level details even at very low listening volume. You don't need to turn on your analytical mind to dissect all the musical details because thery are presented so effortlessly. An absolute delight to listen even after prolonged listenning sessions. Weaknesses:
