The EP175 features a 10-inch cast-aluminum basket driver, dual vortex porting that eliminates port noise , and a built-in 175-watt amplifier. The EP175 comes with spikes to keep the sub secure on carpeting, as well as anti-resonance rubber feet for bare floor use. This is an ideal sub for typically sized living rooms (approximately 20 x 12 x 8 feet or smaller). The EP175 is "Joe's Pick" -- our Home theater Doctor's favourite subwoofer.
