Strength:

crystal clear treble and mid range.

Weakness:

not enuf bass.

the Jamo 195's have one of the clearest treble and mid range i have heard.although they don't have the bass one would normally expect from two 8" drivers.bass tends to be boomy on some frequencies.
make very good home theater main speakers.i'm using them with Jamo center 100,and Jamo surround 200 dipoles.

I am a devout audio enthusiast and over the past couple of years I have been in touch with many speaker brands and types. I have recently purchased a pair of Jamo Cornet 195s. These speakers are phenomenal for their price. The Midrange and tweeter of these speakers are extraordinarily crisp and clear and the Lower bass end is surprisingly tight and focused. My musical tastes range from classical all the way over to deep bass pumping Rap/Hip-Hop. The system I am using these speakers on includes a 150Watt(8 Ohm) 300Watt(4 Ohm) X 5 channel Pioneer Receiver, Technics 10 band Digital Equilizer, 12" 200 Watt KenWood Subwoofer, and two Jamo Cornet 65s for Rear channels. The Bright crisp mids and highs add an exceptional edge to my already bass heavy system.

Jamo has done a very good jobb...again.These speakers sound very well. The bass is a little weak, but the rest sounds almost crystal-clear.
For the price, this one of the better speaker you can buy.
