Strength:

"Airy" highs, well-defined lower midrange and lows. Built quality, not stiff... Gold plated RCA connectors EMI/RFI magnetically shielded Arrows indicate signal path

Weakness:

-There are better digital cables (Of course, costing more $$$) outhere -Maybe, price ($139)for some...

As a current owner of Analysis Plus's Oval Clear speaker cables and based on my total satisfaction with the product, it was logical to go with Analysis Plus's digital interconnect as an "upgrade" over my first digital coax cable - Monster DataLink 100. The results were immediate right out of the box. The Analysis Plus Video/Digital Coax interconnect produced more "airy", detailed highs, the mid-range was better defined, and the low frequencies were tighter and "in-control". After a year+ using the Monster DataLink 100, I felt the highs were bit bright (read... more digital artifact than the Analysis Plus cable). That is not to say there are no better digital coax interconnects outthere than the Analysis Plus Video/Digital cable. I performed a side-by-side comparison with a Music Metre Fidelus Digital Coax cable and the Fidelus produced the best overall tonal balance, especially in the highs, upper midrage and the low frequencies. Vocals are more natural and bass response got a bit tighter. Yet, the Analysis Plus Video/Digital interconnect wasn't too far behind. In all, I recommend this cable to anyone looking to upgrade from their "entry-level" (or "middle of the pack" cable for that matter...)digital interconnect.
