Bottom Line:
This DVHS deck is incredibly easy to use despite its many features, and the recordings it produces (from both SD analog as well as digital HD sources) are of the highest quality possible with current consumer recording gear. As a test, I recorded 2 hours of the PBS high definition demo loop; friends who later saw the results could not tell the difference between the live feed from the TV station and the recording. Even recordings made off cable appear "live", with vibrant colors and excellent detail.

Bottom Line:
Awsome DVHS, it is absolutly awsome looking, makes anolog look almost perfect with 3DYC filter, no jitter with timebase correction. Have not had a chance to record anything yet but am looking so forward to it. Cost more than average person is willing to spend on VCR but it is the best of the best!!!! The remote with LCD screen is cool and very easy to use, the menus on vcr Mitsubishi's Viewpoint is very easy to operate. Very worth the money purchase
