Strength:

ability to make a decent copy of things a combo of two seperate units will not do at all.,americhrome will work when feeding DVD thru unit,

Weakness:

you can not read the dislay, much too dim, then at night it dims even more, the record side has a tendency to grab tape and go to error mode, in the process of trying to get the tape back out it will wrinkle a distort the tape. this is not an everytime thing thank goodness.

the unit is a very useful tool for me, i do lots of traveling and i used vhs-c camcoder to tranfer a number of the c tapes to a standard tape, i can do straight across or edit, then it does a good job of copying otherwise. $$$ reflect the fact i bought the unit when it was new to the market. current models do much more for less than half the price of the 4060

Similar Products Used:

no product exactly similar, i do use 3 JVC units, and a MITSUBISHI, 1 SHARP, and 1 GE. ALL SINGLE DRIVES.ALSO HAVE A 1982 QUASAR UNIT TOP LOAD THAT STILL WORKS WELL
