Strength:

Clarity, transparency and soundstage. Excellent in every respect.

Weakness:

Full retail cost. I don't know how long my stylus will last but 12 months in it shows minimal wear.

Neutral accompanied with my Rega Planer 3 (and yes this Cart can perform on such a humble deck) and my MF Nuvista M3 and Kef reference speakers. This sort of cartridge leaves me questioning why CD took off. There is 3D resolution and clarity that brings a smile to my face. I have a huge vinyl collection that gets a regular outing and the Rohman is an amazing sonic device that proves analogue will reign over digital for a long time to come.

This fine Highend pickup is based on the wery expensive Ortofon MC7500 at a price, more than doubled up, compared to the Rohmann. However the Rohmann is not a cheap product, neither in price or in performance. The Rohmann is in every way a neutral reproducer. No part of the spectrum is produced on the cost of another. The bass is tight and powerfull, as powerfull as the media can. The midrange and top is clean, smoothe and you just get the fealing that nothing is lead out. The perspektive is large, and this pickup tells us why the CD media as we know it, never succeeds in every aspect.
