This Graham 2.0 Tonearm is perhaps the best arm in the world? It gives a full-bodied soundstage, a musicality and clear open sound which set the SME series V back a several steps. I have also compared it with other high end arms and the Graham 2.0 win the race without doubt. I bought the upgrade kit to 2.2 but this it was a small step back? Perhaps it's a matter of taste but I go for 2.0. I still have the 2.2 upgrade kit in my drawer if I should change my mind in the future.
I have never tested the Phantom 44 but I'm so satisfied with my 2.0 so I want to stop here. I also use a Fidelity Research FR64fx in silver finish with a B60 base and this arm is very close to the Graham 2.0 in sound and is still one of the best arms ever made.
I use those two arms mounted on a Nottingham Hyperspace turntable and cartridge used is a Benz LP and a Ruby 3.
