Strength:

Picture-in-Picture, Preset video settings (movie, sports, etc...), reads xbs (I think that's the acronym)

Weakness:

No S-Video, Mute doesn't mute audio out, can't set channel labels, No S-Video, only one input

My wife wouldn't let me splurge too much when our GE died, so this Sanyo was a good compromise. The picture quality is pretty nice for normal cable, looks great with a DVD player.

As I mentioned, there is no S-Video input, just one video in and stereo audio in (and stereo audio out).

You can't label the channels like you could with our GE (which didn't have enough memory for all of them), however it does read the xbs signal, which if it is there, usually tells you the station, name of the station, and the program that is on.

Also, as an annoyance to me, but possibly not others, pressing Mute does not mute the audio out jacks. As our "receiver" is ancient and has no remote, this is a pain. If you have a modern receiver, this is probably a non-issue.
