great tv, not quite as good as a trintron but it does have one thing over the sony's, its not a sony. The 28 inch doesnt mean that its measured diagonally 28 inches. Its actually a 27 inch tv in that respect, but they add an extra inch horizontly so the picture is wider, and yes it really does make a diference. When i watch a regular 27 inch it looks pinched. All in all you wont be upset you bought this tv, i give it 4 stars because the trinitron is better but ill tack an extra star on there for the extra inch
