Summary:
We have several VG175s at our lab. Several (6) have been replaced within the year. The image becomes scrambled If powered off then (at any given time) powered up. At first it took approximately 5 minutes after power up for the screen to become legible. It progressively became worse to the point where it never recovered and they had to be replaced.

Strengths:
Good resolution initally

Weaknesses:
Refresh rate: slow
