Strength:

enough inputs to satify the most demanding home theater set-up, HD picture.

Weakness:

convergence.

First out of the box this tv will disappoint you. You can't be affraid to tweak this baby. Once gray scale, geometry and convergence are properly adjusted in the service menu, the tv displays a beautiful picture. Colors are bright and acurate. Flesh tones vary due to different channels and video sources, but they remain to stay realistic. The contrast is pretty bright even at low settings when viewing white scenes. Blacks are black without blending different images. Meaning you can see subtle details in scenes where darkness dominates. These aspects depend on the quality of the source material. Most dvds look fantastic and standard definition is alright. This tv's greatest feature is it's HD capabilities. HD on this baby will blow your mind. People with the worst vision on the planet will enjoy HD with this tv. Even though I praise this tv, it does have minor flaws. For example, my set is having trouble holding convergence, a problem that will be fixed by a technician hopefully.

Strength:

Picture, Price, PIP features

Weakness:

Picture needs some help out of the box.

Very Nice TV when set up with AVIA disc. Fed with a progressive Scan DVD player it's great. Has no screen protector so be carefull of scratches. Ther is also a lot of internet help for this TV if you are a major Tweaker.

Strength:

price but not woth it

Weakness:

only 800 lines of resolution picture is terrible

This is the absolute worst HDTV widescreen on the market. Has only 800 lines of resolution. Picture quality even when in HD is lacking. Spend more money on a different televison. I have the Mitsubishi 55 widescreen . Awesome
