I bought this deck after moving here to Singapore. I needed a cassette deck, even though I don't use it that often. I used to be into cassette tape heavily, when the thing was buy LPs and record them to cassette. This saved the surface of the vinyl records with their finite number of uses.

Anyway, I was looking for a midrange cassette deck with good basic features (ie frequency response, wow & flutter).
I didn't want a double cassette, as I feel you give up sound quality for the second drive. I also don't like auto reverse decks which will loose its head alignment after awhile.

I found this one with good specs and neat front-horizontal load tray. I am very happy with this deck. I don't plan on buying another deck for quite some time.
