Strength:

Excellent dispersion of rear signals. Very natual sound.

Weakness:

No bottom end.

The puchase price listed above included a c3 center ch. Read about my views on the matching main speakers here: http://www.audioreview.com/Main,Speaker/Swan/PRD_292593_1594crx.aspx All opinions apply to the R3's, except for those regarding bass. Don't get me wrong, it does well and it is moderately large (although smaller than the C3), and pretty heavy. But doesn't have the internal volume to reach as low as the 5.1's or C3. They integrates very well with the mains. Also key here is that i don't use the R3's for SACD, only for movies. I currently am using Jamo Coronet 40 Mk IV's and have a gosl of picking up a pair of Diva 2.1's or 3.1's. -Pi
