Strength:

S-Video input, audio output, two other inputs, PIP. Picture is very clear. Price was excellent ($325).

Weakness:

Have noticed a black stripe on edge of picture during dark scenes in a movie. Not sure if it's the TV or the external components hooked up to it, yet.

TV was upgrade from a 19", so picture is much larger. Very clear, as primarily used for DVD viewing with S-Video input. Handy on-screen menu. Plenty of inputs/outputs.

Strength:

Clear picture, S-video

Weakness:

Big time problem - sides of picture are unnaturally darker than the rest of the screen. Can be more clearly seen in dark scenes with DVDs although it's still there any other time. This will cause me to take it back.

Great features for the price.

Strength:

Multiple imputs, S video, pip, clean picture.

Weakness:

the remote could be better.

I purchased this T.V. since i needed to upgrade for DVD. My previous Sharp didnt have any rca jacks. It was a close call between this t.v. and entry level 27inch Sony Trinitron. I found the picture to be equal, the Sharp does have slightly more noticable scan lines, however it does include a S-video jack, which the Sony did not, also has PIP witch the Sony did not. I found the Sharp to be an exception value for the money, with above average picture quality, rivaling Sony with extra features at a cheaper price.

replaced my 19inch Sharp.
