Price Paid:  $150.00 from Circuit City

Summary:
Just a quick review...Great highs. I wished Polk would incorporate two tweeters in all their speakers, especially in my CSi5 and RTi10's. They are very smooth. The bass is punchy. These surrounds, as with all the Polk speakrs, are power hungry. I need to update my 110x5 watt receiver because it's just not enough. I have no idea why the db rating is so low on these (88-89 db). I would probably recommend BIC Venturi over the Polks for the efficiency and sound, but I do like the smoothness and character of the line.

Strengths:
Soft, smooth sound. Great price.

Weaknesses:
Power hungry. Lack of tweeters in all but the dual facing FX series surrounds. db rating is only 88-89, which doubles the power needed to drive them as compared with speakers rated at 93.

Similar Products Used:
Infinity, Paradigm, BIC Venturi, Energy.
