Bottom Line:
I have owned a few subs and absolutely nothing has been able to compete with the Knight! This guy takes everything I throw at her, from demanding movie LFE (Cloverfield, one of my faves) to sounding tight and seamless in stereo listening. I had an Outlaw LFM-1 Plus, and it did an ok job of filling my room with bass, but was lacking in the "kick" department. With the Knight, I actually have to worry about knocking things off my wall! (And thats not a bad thing in my book).

"The Dark Knight Returns"

"The Dark Knight Returns (Part 1)" - "B" - This is the animated version of Frank Miller's Batman reboot from the early 1980's. That particular limited run series along with "The Watchmen" (which I also read and loved) marked the comic's graduation from "comics" to "graphic nov ... Read More »

"The Dark Knight Rises"

"The Dark Knight Rises" - I'd give it a "B" or "B-Minus". Overly long, overly preachy. Crazy in some spots. This isn't 1914, cops armed with pistols don't attack armoured vehicles and men behind barricades with automatic long guns. The whole thing with the U.S. Speci ... Read More »

the Dark Knight Rises

Expecting this movie to tie up loose ends - it doesn't. Once again, great action sequences and cinematography and a minimum of CGI (though some is still present of course). And once again the mood runs from grim to dire. This time Nolan's desire for supersized scope is overreaching. An inordinate am ... Read More »

The Dark Knight Rises and Amazing Spiderman

So both new teasers have made it out there. The Dark Knight Rises http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apMXFloDH6M The Amazing Spiderman http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XayxMPrUP4 I gotta say, The Dark Knight Rises trailer kinda sucked, other than the last shot of Bane l ... Beverly Knight?

Anyone heard of her? I was just watching "Later...with Jools Holland" and she was on. I'd never heard of her but a little research showed that she has 6 studio albums out and is fairly big in the UK it seems. Her spot on Later was quite impressive...and I don't usually like this sort of music. ... Read More »
