Strength:

priced low

Weakness:

muddy, can't keep up at higher levels. Distorts at near full levels and emits an extremely annoying buzz sound.

This sub came with my HTP-305 Home Theater package and being my first real subwoofer aside from kiddie computer subs, I might be judging with a slanted view somewhat, but from what I experienced, I thought this sub was quite lacking. It didn't produce the punch I was looking for, and in fact barely filled my small room. The most annoying part of it was the rattling noise you would get from listening to rap or from loud movie scene explosions if listening to at slightly high levels. And even then, i'm not talking loud loud volumes. It appears to have been contructed poorly, and my guess is the front bracket is producing the rattling sounds. Overall this sub isn't horrible, but if your paying more than $100 for it than your paying too much. That's my 2 cents...
