Review 1 of 16

Price Paid:  $170.00

Summary:
i have listened to sound tests with it and and it reached more like 25Hz... with considerable volume i might add.. i have a Bass cd, its got a bass warning on it .. its really crappy music with huge low bass tones that are clean as anything... it handles them all with that presure on the ears fealing... even some sounds wehre i can feel the bass in my ears and not really hear it.

of course id like to hear what these tracks would sound like on a velodyne ct-150 or HGS-18 HA...

but they are out of mine and most people price ranges. :(

its an awesome sub for the money, and if your using it for moderate volume levels.. its the one to get.. but if you want some asswhooping's from a SUB look elsewhere.

i give 5stars for value, and 3 for overall because of the distortion of the driver at enjoyable levels..

Strengths:
good low end Bass... great crossovers for good integration

Weaknesses:
distorts on really loud movie bass (LFE)
or if your listening to music at a "fun" volume. this distorting can ruin your fun, by making you have to turn the music/movie down.

Review 2 of 16

Summary:
Incredibly deep, rich bass for the price. Awesome entry-level subwoofer for your system. This is easily the best money we've ever spent on our home theater. . .it enhances everything that we play, from Dave Matthews to The Matrix DVD! If you dont have a sub in your home theater, you need to see what you are missing, and this unit is a great way to go. Bass level control w/ remote, smaller size, easy instillation a plus.

Summary:
This woofer "kicks ass". I got it as an open box at the Kenwood factory for $99. You can't beat the price. The bass is tight and rattles my walls at mid volume only. I am running some Yamaha NSA1638s and this sub totally compliments the setup. Excellent and nice looking sub.

Strengths:
Clean looks, price and quality of bass

Weaknesses:
nonw

Review 4 of 16

Summary:
For under $200 this sub isn't a bad deal. It will add much better bass to a smaller system, but don't get this sub and expect it to shake the house down. For my use in a smaller room I think it does very well with most movies and music at a moderate volume. If you're looking for a sub that is going to shake the house down, look elsewhere, but if you would like to add a decent amount of bass to your current system, than this sub will do the job.

Strengths:
Remote control, easy listening adjustments, and good higher end bass.

Weaknesses:
Distorts at moderate to high listening levels. Remote doesn't allow much mobility, must aim directly at the unit face. Bottoms out fairly easily.

Review 5 of 16

Summary:
at first, this product has features that sell itself.Take it home, play some deep forest soundtracks through it and you will have to wait around forever.... if you want bass below 40hertz!Whilst this sub has great all round bass I dont believe it can be classified as a SUB-woofer.Not to mention the un-relaibility of it's display panel... mine has been back to the service agents a number of times for replacement LED's!!!

Strengths:
remote control good looks features

Weaknesses:
no bottom end basss too boomy

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
