Price Paid:  $1450.00 from a dealer

Summary:
The asw750 is a recent addition to the b&w line. it features a 12" cast frame driver,4" voicecoil, triple suspention, a huge magnet and a thousand watt amp. it is available in 5 real wood veneers, i chose rosenut for it is a good match for my red cherry b&w n805. like other b&w speakers, the build quality and fit and finish of the asw750 is first rate.....................................................................................AT the back of the asw750 is a 1000watts class d amp with big heatsink. some subs uses only marginal amount of heatsinking that when they are used in a hot country like where i live, they could over heat. good thing b&w did'nt skimp in this area. the asw750 only got warm but not hot on heavy use even on a hot day....................................................................................After the break in, the set up and the careful adjustment of the asw750, the sound it produces is powerful, fast , clean and deep. it integrates so well with my n805 that they sound like a pair of big 3-ways. when tested with basstracks (the ones with test tone like deep bass) and movies with deep loud bass, the loudness got to a head numbing level but the sub remained clean sounding and did'nt self destruct...................................................................................When adjusting the x over frequency of the asw750, you have to trust your ears, as in my case , I have to set the x over lower than it should be, because it simply sound right to me, when set above 80hz or so, the sound became too sharp and dry for my taste...................................................................................The asw750 is the subwoofer for people who want accurate music reproduction rather than bombastic sound. this sub is a truly high end product at an affordable price.

Strengths:
sound , build quality and fit and finish.

Weaknesses:
no remote control and speaker level connections.

Marantz MA-9S2 Reference Series Power Amplifiers Review

Marantz MA-9S2 Power AmplifierThe list above has one tenet that I continue to hold true: high powered amplifiers are necessary to reproduce the full dynamic range of music with most speakers. This became apparent when I changed from the 100 Watt per channel Bella Extreme 100 to the 250 Watt.....

A new driver from Lowther is real news. A new five inch driver is even rarer news, so it was with great anticipation that I waited on this pair of speakers to arrive.

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
