Price Paid:  $109.00 from Accessories 4 Less w

Summary:
This sub hit very hard and deep!!! Sommtimes I forget that the sub is a dual 8 inch and the fact it plays like the big boys!! I was thinking about the Infinity PS 8 and the Polk Audio Psw 10. I found ot that the polk can play down to 36hz and the Infinity can play down to 34hz. I was also thinking about the velodyne VX10. But it too can play to 36hz. I found this sub on the acessories 4 less website and they said that it can play down to 28hz! Also when they said that the sub is very compact, they were not kidding!! The size the AR PR808 sub is the size of an 13 to 14 inch tv set!! The bass (when tuned in just right) is unbelievable!!! Even my friend that has an klipsch KSW-12 said that the sub is deeper than his sub!!

Strengths:
Dual 8" woofers-- one powered, one passive 150 watt amp LFE and line level in and out very small size

Weaknesses:
for now the only complaint i have is the hum of the amp. But that's ok.

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
