Review 1 of 1
Price Paid:
$1100.00
from J&R online Summary: I have had this project for about a year and have not found many problems. I have it set up in the basement so I don't have any problems with light washing out the picture. The projector is pretty bright for the price. Everything I have read says that with projectors you have a trade off between sharpness and brightness for the price. Not many places give you a large group of similarly priced projectors to screen so I picked this one after reading home theater magazine's review between three similar projectors. The projector they reviewed was the h30 model but I decided the new one could only be better. Average lamp life about 3000 w/bright mode turned off. Strengths: Widescreen view
DVI input
HD compatible ( not HD but scaled back with suprising quality)
Lots of setting features
Front and back remote sensor
multiple placement options Table, upside/down ceiling, behind screen Weaknesses: You have to manually change from 4/3 to 16/9 when changing to HD
high throw angle makes ceiling installation a little awkward
I takes a while maybe 6 seconds to change from a normal channel to an HD channel
