Description: An ideal option for listeners with crowded living rooms, each of these 8-ohm speakers installs conveniently in the ceiling, where it delivers crisp, rich sound without taking up valuable floor or shelf space. The mounting cutout measures a mere 6.5 inches in diameter and sits 2.75 inches deep--a manageable size that easily holds the 7.75-inch speaker frame. Adding to the speaker's unassuming appearance is the recessed grille, which makes the speaker look more like a ceiling spotlight than an audio source. Inside each speaker, meanwhile, sits a 5.25-inch polypropylene woofer with a urethane surround and a 0.75-inch liquid-cooled tweeter. The drivers combine to produce pleasing mids and intense highs, with a solid 75 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response.
