Bottom Line: The Gemme Tanto V2 is a loudspeaker from a Canadian company. This company is not well known in the USA but it makes no difference. The bottom line........one of the best loudspeakers out there under $20,000. I won't go into all the rhetoric about imaging, spacial orientation, soundfield, and voice presentation. This midsized loudspeaker should not have the base reproduction it does. The company uses a "vflex" cabinet that produces extremely precise, tight, timberally accurate bass. You want to cut the cabinet open to see how they do it. It is ported and adjustable. The tweeter is a ring revelator that is a fairly expensive component. ($325.00) . It is worth every penny. When i write reviews I usually take a page or more.......I don't need to......this speaker is that good. If you get a chance to buy the newer version 3 do it! If you get a chance to buy a pre-owned Version 2 do not hesitate........it is a very efficient speaker that portrays music as it should be.......the speaker gets out of the way of the beautiful music it produces.
