I picked a set of these up from a guy on craigslist for 40 bucks, i expected nothing from them but to make sound to replace the technics my receiver demoslished until i could afford some nice speakers (hopefully dcm kx-12s :) i like bass) and let me tell you what man, i always thought fishers were junk speakers and that may be the case for most of them, but these oldies sound REALLY GOOD. the bass thumps you in the chest on any note, and the mids aren't too bad at all, the highs sound pretty good too but on certain notes there a bit too much, nothing a cheap equalizer cant fix, and with a few adjustments these things sound beautiful. i cant emphasize it enough. i had like 15 beer bottles on top of my dresser and they rattled to hell and back. they are rated for 75 watts max but i know my receiver puts out 125 rms and i crank it a good bit and they take the abuse like champs. also when i added these to the database i put 15 inch woofers, they are only 12's though, still very powerful sound. two thumbs up for fisher on these puppies
