Bottom Line:
Very good all around speakers. They have great depth at low volume .
They sound great right next to each other or at a distance apart from each other
You can't beat the price and a very stylish look too.

Bottom Line:
These are great small speakers. For the money, you will not find anything more transparent, they are bettered only by MUCH more expensive products. Setup is less critical than some other speakers, and you get a decent image over a wide area. Very nice binding posts, they are able to be bi-wired or amped. These speakers (like all of phase technology speakers) are very easy to drive. I had more than enough power with my Jolida 15wpc integrated amp, and would expect any 300b based amp to be able to drive these speakers well. This generation from phase tech is the first to get rid of their persistant midrange colorations that plauged them in the past, so don't be afraid to try these now!

Bottom Line:
I listened to dozens of pairs of speakers before purchasing these. They are extraordinarily rich and warm with a very deep detailed sound stage. The vocals are also incredibly rich and warm. These speakers do not produce the "boom boom hiss" type of sound that seems to dominate the mid-range speaker market these days. They do reproduce beautiful detailed music with realistic warm tones. When compared to Polks, Infinitys, or even Paradigms there is simply no comparison. The Theils are somewhat cleaner and crisper, but they also start at about $2400 and require a high end system to run them. In my opinion, there are no better speakers on the market for $750. They are very hard to find–but do yourself a favor and find some. Try them and I think you'll be amazed at how they stack up against similarly priced competition. I was.

Bottom Line:
These are a fine speaker, and they seem to have the same tweeter and Mid as my older PC-100's (the 100's are towers though and included an extra mid/base driver).

As mentioned, these seem to be a bit brighter than the PC100's or PC-3s but are still a pleasant speaker to spend hours with. They have an expansive sound field and their off axis response seems to be on par with my PC100s. As mentioned they include Phase Tech's movable tweeter which makes placement even easier.

I wasn't really looking to buy another set of speakers (I've been extreemly happy with my PC-100s) but I bought these speakers for a steal at $202.50 off ebay. They're in brand new condition. Knowing their quality I just couldn't pass it up.

I have listened to different loudspeakers for so many years. All Phase technology loudspeakers are the best for the price.Ive owned the PC-2 and 3.The PC-2 sounds really good in music.I enjoyed them a lot.Huge imaging, and uncolored sound.Compare to PC-3,their kind of bright for some reason.Their good for movies.
