Bottom Line:
This speaker replaced the far superior "Victoria" model in Legacy's product line. They discontinued it after a couple of years because it wasn't selling well. Why? Because while the Accent wasn't a bad speaker, it was only about half as much speaker as the Legacy Classic, at 3/4 the price. If you can pick up a pair for under $1,000 it's not a bad option but there are other choices that offer more.

Bottom Line:
these speakers need a amp with power you will not get the full sound with out one the speakers have a very good sound i have listen to speakers that cost over 3000 that dont come close in sound so go a head and listen to as many speakers as you can but you will not find better sound then the accent in less you are willing to pay much more

Bottom Line:
was going to buy the classics, luckilly I was able to borrow a pair to try at home and the whole family fell in love with them. We like the slim tower look. Had to upgrade my amp , went from Yamaha integrated to Denon 8300 THX with 200 per side at 4 ohms. made a huge difference. the Dennon is a little base heavy which the speakers like.Mid and upper is great and the rear facing tweeter gives them great imaging. From a marketing standpoint Legacy probably priced it a little to close to the classic but that only means the classic is really underpriced. When I switch to other speakers in the house I'm constantly impressed every time I turn them on. They love to play the Blues.
