Strength:

Surprising bass for size, nice wood veneer, clear midrange.

Weakness:

Sounds a little harsh when pushed perhaps.

My sole speaker companion for over ten years now, and I have little complaint. Partnered with a 20 watt Rotel RA810A until a year ago (now a NAD C320), they have given sterling service for a very small price. A well integrated bass and very clear midband are it's strengths.

Very nice real wood veneer, but a buzz/resonance develops in one of the drive units at a certain frequency. It was partially fixed when purchased but still persists to this day.. Otherwise I would recommend these to anyone starting out, though I believe they are no longer available. Won a What Hi-Fi group test when they were released, and it's easy to see why.
