This is truely and amazing speaker! If you like a varm and smooth sound with great soundstage and deep end, this is really a speaker for you. I´ve have find a speaker for life this time, and i have been around in this buisnees for decades. There are a bit retro over the looks of this speaker, but i like it very much. This is my first JMR speaker, but before i purchased it, i was trying it`s little brother, the Emeurade. It is also a great speaker, but i feel i was missing a bit in the lower end whit that speaker, but the top and midrange was beautiful, so i moved a step up to get the bigger Orfeo, and with no regret. When you hear it, it sounds like it don`t come from the speakers itself, but fill you`re room up with sweet music, and you can play all kind of music on them. I prefeer rock acoustic and heavy metal, and this speaker keeps up wtih all of them, but if you wonna hear them at their best, try classic and jazz.....this is mindblowing! Iv`e hooked thek up with Lavardin IT intg. amplifier, Rega Saturn transport, Rega P7 turntable, and Rega Eoa riaa. All with Lavardin cables.
