These speakers are great for a beginner home theater enthusiast. They produce a good ambience behind the listener. Obviously at this price range (two surrounds, and a center all for around $100), one wouldn't expect anything exceptional from speakers. If you're looking to fill in the missing channels and you want a temporary solution, this is perfect. I, however, have finally seen the light and realized that it's time to upgrade every single component in my system, starting with the speakers.. moving to Paradigm Monitor 3's for left and right fronts and Paradigm CC-170 as the center channel (which blows away the JBL-TLXMovies center). Strengths:
