Strength:

I Like the Infinity bu2 sub. The bass is surpassed by none,The name says it all

Weakness:

I live in an upstairs apt. Better appricated in a house...

INFINITY surround speakers for the high performance are agreat value matched with a HARMAN/KARDON AVR 20 SURROUND RECIEVER.

You may be able to find them still at SoundPros.com or check for some being auctioned at eBay.com. If SoundPros doesn't list them anymore call or e-mail Scott and he might track down some or help with something comparable.

No complaints here. Bought the Infinity CMS2A speaker set from Circuit City on sale for 499. Can't beat that! Great sound at a great price! Thanks to the other reviews, I knew what to get.

Wow, Wow, Wow. From start to finish, these little overachievers push the limits of size vs. price vs. performance. The sub on this little system has quite good extensions down below 30Hz, and blends nicely with the 10" satellites. Got this system for $555 @ HomeAudioSystems.com. The people there were wonderful to deal with, and the system came in just 3 days. I also bought a Toshiba DVD Player from them, and am very happy with it as well. I'm running these with a Kenwood VR-209 and it sounds great. For small to medium spaces, this system is more than adequate, it's magnificent.

Thanks to Josh's tip, I got it at for $415 on a slow day when not too many people were bidding. The $50 shipping is a little steep, though.
For the price, this one easily earns 5 stars. It's better and cheaper than the highly touted Energy "Take-5", which seems to be its main competition.

My only complaint: I had to spend about $100 to wire the 6 pieces. I'd have felt better about the wiring cost if I were wiring a $1500 speaker system :)

By the way, if you keep an eye on various auction sites and "haggle zones", you can get the subwoofer and the L-MPS system seperately for under $200 each, including shipping! Don't you just love the Internet?

I got this HT speaker system recently. They sounded good. However, the speaker housing is poorly design for wall mounting. They came with 4 wall mounts (There are no wall mount for the center ???). They only provide a common screw to screw into the speaker's plastic housing. If you do it for a couple of times it will not hold. Many other speakers have special metal inserts in the speaker housing to receive the screw.
The Subwoffer SU120 has no no/off switch. The manual asked to connect it to an unswitched power supply. Is it necessary to have the subwoffer powered on all the time?

Over all I am happy with it.

I recieved this package this week. The cost was $575 delivered from Sound Professionals. This is a great system at any price. For what I paid, this may be the best deal in town. The L-MPS speakers are very nice and the BU-120 sub kicks. Definitely worth a look. I don't claim to be an expert on any of this, but in my opinion based upon value and performance, this is a definite 5.

Strength:

Good clarity, excellent sub, and well priced.

Weakness:

Does not perform well when listening to music, but that is expected from satellite speakers.

These speakers perform well for the money and are a good bargain. The subwoofer itself makes the package even more appealing. Watching movies with these speakers is a good experience but you would be better served if you replaced your center channel with a larger one like the CC2 or CC3. I ended up getting the new Interlude center channel from Infinity and the difference is extraordinary. It is highly important that you have a center channel that can pick up a wider range of frequencies so that you don't miss some of the sound effects; the provided center channel lacks the mid-level bass and the subwoofer doesn't pick up that signal.

All in all, the CMS-2 is a good deal and I am satisfied with them. But, if you want a fuller sounding system, it is not advisable to go with a satellite system.
