Bottom Line:
I bought these off kijiji and they sound amazing for our bedroom with a 12inch passive sub and well worth the money have no regrets at all clear with rock and awesome bass with reggae. I was a DJ for many years and played on JR earthquakes and for a house I got me mostly Cerwins and don't like any other speakers

Bottom Line:
When I saw these speakers for just $25 at a Goodwill I snapped them up. They are replacing some old Boston HD5's that I also got at Goodwill. I am overall very happy with these speakers. While they can sound a bit muddy, especially compared to my HD5's which had great clarity, they still deliver a very enjoyable listening experience. I have found they are best for music, the louder the better. In games they tend to lose too much detail, the same for movies. These would make great surround speakers, despite being a little large for the task.

Bottom Line:
Great sounding speaker. I started out with these as my main speakers until I got more money for the 12 inch. They work wonderfully as surround sound speakers in the rear. A little bulky for it, but worth it. Try it and you'll love them.

Bottom Line:
I bought these about 9 years ago. They were $140 each at Circuit City. The woofer is powerful and has deep bass for the size.

My impressions: Sansa m200 (2 gig) vs. Zune 80 gig

Well, the ever-lovely Mrs. W got me an engraved 80 gig Zune for Christmas. I guess she got tired of those 2 gig Sansas we’ve been living with for the past few years and decided to drag me into the 21st century, kicking and screaming. Gotta love that woman. I’ve been learning how to use and app ... Read More »

Paradigm Studio 80 vs. 60

I just recently entered the world of audio enthusiasts and this is quickly becoming an expensive hobby for a budget conscious guy like me. Anyway, I bought a used Paradigm studio 20s a while ago and while I was happy with their neutral sound I wasn't too happy with their output - I'm sure this is a ... Read More »
