Simply stunning speakers. Well made and sound amazing no matter what music you throw at them. I listen a wide variety of music from jazz to heavy rock and everything in between , I can honestly say Conway speakers handle everything beautifully from deep bass to soaring treble. Best speakers that I've ever owned and I've had them for 15 years hooked up to linn pre amp , anp and CD player. Buy them if you can find them they're Epic!!

Stunningly detailed, accurate and moving. Top notch British made with carbon kevlar speaker cones. Most high end speaker companies buy their drivers from actual manufacturers and then assemble speakers crossovers and cabinets in-house. With Castle they design and make their own drivers and even their own gorgeous hardwood cabinets. Just stunning!

Pricey but you get what you pay for.

i'm an audio enthusiast not audiophile so this will be a simple review.

The Conways are my favourite speakers, marvelous clarity, beautiful staging, considerable subtlety on delicate pieces, *have moved me to tears =)* and incredible, seismic bass. The Crystal Method, Meat Katie, Fluke etc sound as they would want to be heard. Being a pianist myself i have a large collection of piano concertos which the Conways treat as beautifully as the dance music.

In addition, they are very forgiving of a lesser front end source, my currently used amplifier is only a Cambridge Azur 640 v2 but the combination produces a sound that would cost a lot more dosh than i've spent to better.

Ps if the price paid shows up as dollars, it should be pounds. Even i can't get that good a bargain.=)
