Full range speakers. Always impressed friends. I matched them with the ADS center channel, woofer and rear wall speakers. A winner combo!

super dynamic, plays very loud and clear, magnetic shielding, balanced sound, wide and deep soundstage, makes a SUPERB 5.1 set with the associated speakers mentioned in my above review.

large speakers (they have 6 drivers each), needs to be played loud to get the best sound, ADS does not manufacture this particular line any more, so getting matched speakers for 7.1 is not possible.

I bought the MV80Ts in 1997. They are superb for both music and home theater. I bought thye entire A/V set, MV80Ts (main), MV10C (center channel) and MV15s (dipole/bipole rears). I went to a local high end store recently and auditioned the much reviewed Revel Performas and lo and behold!!! I preferred my ADS 5.1 setup to the Performas 5.1 setup. I have figured out that to get better sound I will have to spend quite a bit more than I paid for my MV80Ts.

I Purchased the A/D/S MV80T's after listening to speakers like Paradigm and some lower end B&W. I Like them very much there is not a lot of selection in
my area and i wound up ordering these, but compared to the Paradigm and Paradigm
Reference products that almost all audio shops seem to be pushing these days
there is NO comparasion the A/D/S win hands down. If your considering paying
around 1500.00 for a pair of the above you should really consider these speakers
i got mine new for 1950.00 mail order and it was worth the extra 450.00 these
speakers actually have some depth, extreemly clear and you will hear music that
you didnt even know existed on your CD's.

This is just an update to the review below. I just replaced the Luxman Recieverthat i was using with a Lexicon Dc-1 and an Adcom GFA-7500 (225w into 4ohms X 5)
and almost everything that i didnt like about my A/D/S speakers dissapeared.
the listener fatigue and lack of soundstage are the main 2 complaints that i
had and i was directing those complaints at the wrong components. These things
do like lots of power. once i got rid of the brightness that was causing
listener fatigue i started listening to them at a higher level. i was enjoying
them the other day at a nice level and wasnt paying much attention to the
equipment just enjoying the music, when i finally looked down at the amp i saw
the clipping lights flickering on occasion. but even at that level the sound
was clean, clear, and rich and now i have a soundstage to go with that sound.
you could do alot worse than the A/D/S MV80T's. I bought the MV40T's for my
rear channel speakers and would NOT recommend them for you main speakers they
are fine for rear channel or bed room speakers but dont cut it as a main set.
although i think these speakers have earned a 5 star rating considering that
you can buy them for as little as $2000.00 but i wont color the review section
