Bottom Line:
after owning for about 6 mos--i got the il36 from infinity--after living with cc1 it became boxy and pinchy sounding--didnt blend well with my rs5000 mains--NOW lolo the 36c--OR the 25c will blow you aWAY at same volume levels-as far as quality in sound goes-tho not cheap!!!! and the il25 will do as well in smaller rooms--both are a step up - a MAJOR step up in sound quality from the cc1--to me the cc1 is meant as a center for the small satillite speakers--NOT for a decent set of main speakers--here the old equasion comes in--WHY mate a cheap 150.00 spkr with a set of expensive mains?lol --we keep trying but our ears bring us back to reality lol - you GET what you pay for

Bottom Line:
I enjoyed this speaker for quite a while but was always bothered by a mid-upper bass gap. I think it would probably be okay with a smaller sub (I have a 15" sub). I moved up to the CC-3 and am completely happy. This speaker reproduces sound in its range very well and would recommend it to anyone.

Bottom Line:
I am using this as my center channel in my Dolby Digital System. When compared to my old JBL center, this one plays much clearer, but softer. It matches quite well with my other speakers, but it is soft and I have to turn up the center channel quite a bit to hear the dialogue. My old JBL Center was not as clear, but quite a bit louder for dialog. The JBL was good for Pro-Logic, but not for Dolby Digital. This is a good center channel for the money, but I wish it was a bit louder.

Bottom Line:
This center is a very good center for the money, it offers good sound and a compact size. It matches very well to Infinity US-1's. RS-2's don't match quite as well, and it doesn't sound all that spectacular, but overall this is a satisfying entry level center channel
