First off, not sure where they got the MSRP of 290.00, it is 500.00. Look at BA website to confirm. Anyway these are killer speakers. Very smooth and warm yet able to deliver the highest frequencies. They are bi ampable, which really makes the sound crystal clear. These are built very solid and look high end. I use these as my fronts and center and they fill the room. The imaging is very good.
For music the E50 is a true performer. Handles the most dynamic music with ease and grace. For the size these really pack a punch, these replaced my BA Lynnfeild towers and in a side by side the e50 won hands down. On the web you can now get there for 200 each, you will not find a better performer for the money.
