The PCB4’s are an excellent value for the price. They also produce an exceptional sound for their size. The bass from the PCB4 is too boomy, but the bass from many more expensive speakers is also too boomy. The mids and the highs are overshadowed by the bass, which is probably a blessing for many hip hop, rock, and pop recordings. I would rather spend $175.00 and get the "Pyle PCB4 Upgraded" from eBay, and get a much classier sound. I gave the PCB4’s a 4 out of 5 for their cheap price and small size.

The Pyle PCB4 Upgraded speakers sound better and have more realistic bass than many speakers costing more than $1000.00. They do not fill a large room with sound, and you would not expect them to, since they are tiny five inch cubes. They sound fantastic in small to medium sized rooms. WayneTaylorAudio.com has upgraded an inexpensive ($35.00) speaker created a mid-range ($175.00) speaker that produces a high-end sound.
